WHAT IS The TV Shield™?

The TV Shield™ is the ultimate in indoor and outdoor TV protection. The TV Shield™, outdoor TV enclosure and cover is designed to be protect from water, weather, flying objects and theft and the solution to being able to use regular every day TV's (not the expensive outdoor tv's) in an outdoor environment. While also securing the TV against theft and damage, outdoors, or indoors.

WHY DO I NEED A TV Shield? WHY DO I NEED an Outdoor TV Enclosure?

You either already own, or are purchasing a LCD, PLASMA, or LED TV-one not designed for exposure to the elements. The TV Shield™ protects your investment from damaging moisture, dust, dirt, pollen, bugs, salt air, and UV rays. Manufacturers' warranties and extended warranties may be voided when damage is caused by water intrusion or outdoor elements, so it's more important than ever to protect your outdoor LCD or plasma TV. The TV Shield™ also protects from tampering and theft of your outdoor or indoor TV at home or at your business or venue by completely enclosing your LCD, PLASMA, LED TV and flat screen displays.

WHAT KIND OF MATERIAL'S ARE The TV Shield MADE OUT OF?

We researched and tested scores of materials (metals, coated wood/synthetic wood products, fiberglass, and many plastics) until we found the perfect solution. The TV Shield™ outdoor weather and water resistant TV enclosure and cover is crafted from a premium, flexible material because of its strong, water resistant, scratch resistant, and UV resistant properties. The housing of the TV Shield is made from HMWP or High Molecular Weight Polyethylene. The front panel is made from ¼ inch thick optically clear polycarbonate.

HOW ARE YOUR TV COVERS MADE?

The TV Shield™ outdoor LCD TV enclosure and cover and outdoor Plasma TV enclosure cover is handcrafted in the U.S.A. in award winning manufacturing and assembly facilities. All materials are waterproof and UV resistant, protecting your TV from the elements.

DOES THE TV COVER PROTECT THE BACK AS WELL AS THE FRONT OF AN OUTSIDE TV?

Yes, The TV Shield™ is a complete TV enclosure. The TV mounts inside of the outdoor TV enclosure.

HOW DO I CLEAN MY TV COVER?

Your outdoor TV cover will look its best when kept clean. The back housing can be cleaned with a mild soap and water, however the front panel is a special material, which will look best if you use one of our APPROVED CLEANING PRODUCTS, available by CLICKING HERE.

HOW DOES The TV Shield™ PROTECT MY TV?

The TV Shield outdoor water resistant TV cover and enclosure PROTECTS YOUR LCD TV. The TV Shield weather resistant outdoor TV cover and enclosure PROTECTS YOUR PLASMA TV. The TV Shield™ outdoor TV cover and enclosure PROTECTS YOUR FLAT SCREEN TELEVISION OR DISPLAY.

The TV Shield™ is engineered and manufactured to be weather resistant and water resistant. The TV Shield™ is a sealed unit with minimal and controlled exposure to the elements. The TV Shield™ is secured with two weather resistant KEYED LOCKS at the bottom of every unit. The front panel of The TV Shield™ is secured to the body of the unit with tamper resistant rivets which are unable to be easily removed (such as screws) further securing your valuable investment in your outdoor TV.

Of course we cannot guarantee that The TV Shield™ will guarantee the prevention of theft or tampering with your TV, however it does help secure it further by creating an additional barrier or level of security than if left bare and exposed.

WILL THE OUTDOOR TV COVER WORK WITH DIFFERENT KINDS OF WALL MOUNTS?

Yes, The TV Shield™ is engineered to be "universal", and is able to be used with all "standard" VESA mounting systems, up to 400x400. The TV Shield is manufactured with a pre-measured and marked "divit" system, in which you can drill out the back of the unit in pre-molded divits to fit your mount and configuration (this not only lets our Patent Pending TV Shield be "universal", but also allows the minimum of holes or moisture entry points), using the provided instructions.

DOES THE FRONT OF The TV Shield™ OPEN?

Yes, The TV Shield™ water resistant outdoor TV cover and enclosure is engineered to be used either open or closed. The front panel has a "prop up" system, which allows it to be used in either the closed or open (propped up) position.

DO I NEED TO MEASURE MY TV?

YES, measuring is VERY important! Especially if you plan to use a larger TV than our advertised primary sizes. You will need to precisely measure your TV if you plan to use The TV Shield™ for the upsize LED Sizing.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE The TV Shield™?

Unless otherwise specified on the order page, we keep inventory of all products in stock, available for shipping within 1 to 2 business days. Orders received before 2pm Eastern time Mon-Fri, will ship SAME DAY and in some cases the next business day. Orders Received on Saturday, Sunday or Holidays- will ship within 1 to 2 business days. Some products ship from sperate locations and you may recieve seperate tracking information. Order arrival will be based upon chosen shipping method, shipping conditions and per carrier.

HOW IS The TV Shield™ ORDER SHIPPED?

The TV Shield™ ships via USPS, UPS (United Parcel Service) and offers Ground, 3 and 2-Day delivery. FREIGHT Shipping is available as an additional lower cost alternative, please call for details.

When your order ships you will be notified by email and provided tracking information for your The TV Shield order. You may also log into your account and view your 'order status' - tracking information is provided there as well. The TV Shield™ online ordering system currently ships only in the continental United States, however we will be more than happy to assist in shipping Internationally via phone orders only.
